This is my first little project, a suitcase dulcimer/harp/zheng made from an old art supplies carry case. The wire is from stripped clothing line with eyelets, the tuning pegs from windworld.com
It sounds good, a bit twangy, difficult as hell to tune to any kind of scale! I might replace some of the wires with slightly thicker violin strings to get a few ‘bass’ strings on it. Also going to make a quick contact mic and hook it up to some pedals to make noises with.
